Aide Mutuelle
Le Fonds d'aide mutuelle a été mis en place en 2023 et est géré par le conseil d'administration. Un comité permanent de trois bénévoles est en charge des programmes.

The mutual aid fund was put in place in 2023 and is managed by the Board. A permanent committee of three volunteers is in charge of the programs.

L'aide directe est notre programme principal.
Il consiste pour l'instant en quatre (4) rondes de soumission par année et remet typiquement entre 200$ et 500$ à 6 à 10 personnes à chaque ronde.
Il permet de soutenir financièrement des personnes transféminines en situation souvent extrêmement précaire (sans domicile fixe, sans revenu, dettes, violence domestique, problèmes de santé mentale, handicaps, etc.). Nous parvenons à financer ce programme à travers des cotisations volontaires, des dons ponctuels et des collectes de fonds.

Direct aid is our main program.
It currently is composed of four (4) submission rounds per year and typically awards between $200 and $500 to 6 to 10 people in each round.
It provides financial support to transfeminine people in often extremely precarious situations (homelessness, no income, debt, domestic violence, mental health problems, disabilities, etc.). We manage to finance this program through voluntary contributions, one-off donations and fundraising.

Le soutien aux initiatives communautaires est un nouveau programme créé à partir du fond partagé originellement entre l'organisation du collectif TRAPs et l'aide mutuelle.
C'est un fond consacré à soutenir les personnes et les collectifs qui démarrent des projets dans leur communauté. Les premiers 5000$ ont été réservés aux communautés autochtones et racisées.
C'est en quelque sortes le bras financier de notre appel à l'action transféministe.

Support for community initiatives is a new program created from the fund originally shared by the organization of the TRAPs collective and the mutual aid.
It is a fund dedicated to supporting people and groups who start projects in their community. The first $5,000 has been reserved for indigenous and racialized communities.
It is in a way the financial arm of our call to transfeminist action.

Les candidatures des femmes trans et aux personnes transféminisées avec des besoins urgents sans accès à un revenu stable et suffisant sont acceptées quatre fois par année pour environ deux semaines. Nous priorisons les demandes en fonction de différents facteurs de maginalisation.
Les candidatures pour les prochaines rondes d'aide directe rouvriront le 1er octobre.

Applications from trans women and transfeminized people with urgent needs without access to stable and sufficient income are accepted four times a year for about two weeks. We prioritize demands according to various marginalization factors.
Applications for the next rounds of direct aid will be open starting October 1st.

Le programme de soutien aux initiatives collectives offre des bourses une fois par année pour les collectifs (max 3500$) et pour les individus (max 500$) qui soutiennent leur communauté.
Les initiatives présentées au programme doivent être portés par des personnes transféminisées et servir à développer les capacités politiques et communautaires de nos communautés, incluant leur expression culturelle. Les projets peuvent être déjà entrepris ou être planifiés pour plus tard.
Ils sont priorisés en fonction de leur pertinence dans l’avancement du Mouvement, de leur impact anticipé et de la marginalisation des personnes qui les portent.

The Initiatives Support Program offers grants once a year to collectives (max. $3,500) and individuals (max. $500) who support their communities.
Initiatives submitted to the program must be led by transfeminized individuals and aim to develop the political and community capacities of their communities, including their cultural expression. Projects can already be underway or planned for the future.
They are prioritized based on their relevance to the advancement of the Movement, their anticipated impact, and the marginalization of the individuals who lead them.
